About the Event

Could we/should we combine law and technology instead of opposing them?

Law should embrace technology, but also, technology should embrace law.

We have to understand the potential and the benefits of the technology so that when we tackle the problems it creates; we can compare which solutions preserve these benefits the most, and adopt and adapt the best solutions in this regard.

The main objective is not to reduce the capacity of the technology. It is to tackle the problems created by the blockchain while maintaining its dynamism and attractiveness.

Combining law and technology can help reach a better legal outcome than simply applying the law on its own.
