Debora Paglieri Born in Alessandria (Piemonte , Italy) on May 19,1966 , after studies in foreign languages and literature from the University of Genoa, enters the family business , following her father footsteps in technical area, as family tradition wanted. She specializes in chemistry and cosmetology technique in Switzerland and, at the same time, she enrolled at the famous school of perfumery inside the company Givaudan-Roure. She enters the family business in 1989 in quality control labs; later, she moves to the production area of which she deepens the problems. After this , she moves to R&D Labs . Since 1995 she has been in charge of the one of the most strategic areas of the company : the coordination of marketing and labs divisions, from which all the new products and the revisions of existing ones result. In 1996, she enters the board of directors of Paglieri SpA and in 2000 she heads a project ,that will extend the business activity to the perfumery channel , with the new brands Aquolina and Pink Sugar : this resulted in the foundation of a new company , Selectiva SpA of which she will be appointed as Chairman of the Board. She is currently President and CEO of the parent company Paglieri SpA*, CEO of Selectiva SpA** and CEO of the real estate company of the Group . She is member of the executive board of Assocasa , Confindustria member Association of Industries for detergents and specialties for industry and home She is member of the executive board of Centromarca , the Italian brand association She is treasurer and member of the executive board of UPA (Utenti Pubblicità Associati) She is member of the executive board of Alessandria Chamber of Commerce. She is co-founder and member of the board of Fondazione Cavour . In 2011 she was appointed “Cavaliere al merito del Lavoro” by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. She is big donor of the Rotary Foundation and Past President of Rotary Club of Alessandria . She has a daughter , Ginevra , 24 years old .
