Shirin Ong

Shirin is Director of Strategy and Special Projects (Hospitality and Tourism Division) at Anchorstone Vietnam Development and Investment Group Corporation, a member of one of Vietnam's leading privately-held conglomerates.

She was previously Chief Operating Officer of Foodie Group Limited, a food media platform based in Hong Kong, where she oversaw planning and execution of multi-platform marketing campaigns and events. She was also a founding organiser of the Food’s Future Summit, a leading regional platform for innovation in the food ecosystem. Prior to this, Shirin worked for the Defence Ministry in Singapore, where her areas of responsibility included defence policy and diplomacy, strategic planning and strategic communications.
