Nadine Heubel is the CEO of Heinemann Americas, Inc., the US-based subsidiary of international duty free leader Gebr. Heinemann. The 140-year-old company is the largest family-run travel retail business in the world, with business partners and customers in more than 100 countries. Gebr. Heinemann is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany with subsidiaries across the globe, and operates 340 duty free stores in 74 airports across 28 countries, and 40 shops aboard 20 cruise liners. In 2016, Heubel became the company’s highest-ranking female executive in the company’s history when she was selected to establish the company’s presence in the Americas. Since that time, Heubel has secured contracts with some of the largest cruise lines in the world, including Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Carnival, with plans to expand into additional travel sectors well underway.
