Shirin Ong

Shirin has over a decade of experience in the areas of strategic planning & analysis, marketing & communications, and project management & operations across multiple industries. She was previously Director of Hospitality & Entertainment Strategy at Anchorstone Vietnam Development and Investment Group Corporation, overseeing hospitality and tourism development at one of Vietnam's leading privately-held conglomerates. Before that, she was Chief Operating Officer of Foodie Group Limited, a food media platform based in Hong Kong, where she led the planning and execution of multi-platform marketing campaigns and events. She was also a founding organiser of the Food’s Future Summit, an award-winning regional conference on innovation in the food ecosystem. Shirin started her career in the Singapore Ministry of Defence, where her areas of responsibility included defence policy and diplomacy, strategic planning and strategic communications.
